The Euro 2024 squad has been revealed, and it includes Rubin Colwill for Wales. The uncapped starlet has been included in Chris Coleman’s 23-man squad, and he’s destined to play a key role if the team is successful.

Rubin Colwill is a Welsh footballer who currently plays as a winger for the Welsh National Football Team. He made his debut for the national team at the age of 17 in a friendly against Scotland, and has since become a regular in the squad. Colwill, who has also represented Wales at under-19, under-21 and under-23 level, has declared himself available for Euro 2024 qualification, and declared that he was ready to play anywhere for Wales.

The Euro 2024 qualifiers are underway, with Wales facing Bulgaria at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Friday night. Both teams have made a good start to the campaign, with the Bulgarians only just losing to the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Monday night. The Welsh side have won their first two games, against Andorra and Moldova, but have drawn their last two, against Bulgaria and Belgium.

Attacking midfielder Colville, who only made his Cardiff debut in February, has been included in Wales’ training squad ahead of the final. The 19-year-old was selected ahead of forwards Tom Lawrence, Rabbi Matondo and Brennan Johnson. Since he’s been here, it’s been a breath of fresh air, Robert Page, director of nursing, said of Colville. He really impressed me. It has a presence, it has something that we don’t have in the middle of the park. He can play on the right, at the 10 position and in midfield, so that was a bonus when we chose the team composition. He amazed us all with his way of being and acting. He’s already a top pro and a nice guy to be around. Wales begin their Euro 2024 campaign on June 12 in Baku against Switzerland and will also take on Turkey and Italy. Captain Gareth Bale is the big name in the team that Paige will lead in the absence of Ryan Giggs. Bale, who was loaned from Real Madrid to Tottenham this season, was one of Wales’ stars at Euro 2016, when he reached the semi-finals in France under Chris Coleman. Aaron Ramsey, Joe Allen, Wayne Hennessey, Ben Davis, Johnny Williams, Danny Ward and Chris Gunter, who received 100 caps, are also included. We’d love to repeat what we did at Euro 2016, but we’re realistic – it’s a different team, a different tournament, said captain Bale. It will be difficult, but we have confidence in our abilities and we will do our best to achieve as much success as possible. Tottenham defender Davies missed the end of the Premier League season in March with a calf injury, while versatile Ethan Ampadu has also been included in the squad despite missing the end of his loan spell at Sheffield United due to pelvic problems. After Switzerland, Wales will meet Turkey in Baku on 16 June and conclude the group stage with a match against Italy in Rome on 20 June. June. Robert Page joins the senior coaching staff in August 2019. word-image-18995 Colville’s arrival was a big surprise for Page’s team and marks a meteoric rise for the attacking midfielder. He’s been playing for Cardiff since he was eight years old. In July 2024 he was promoted to the U23s and in February manager Mick McCarthy made his league debut in the Championship against Coventry (3-1). The following month, the Neath-born player was called up for the Wales Under-21 team for the first time. He came on as a substitute in the 2-1 friendly against the Irish Republic and played his first international match. Colville was part of a 28-man training camp in Portugal, from which veteran striker Hal Robson-Kanu was taken and Cardiff midfielder Will Faulks was again left out. Luton Town defender Tom Lockyer was also part of the training squad, but after missing the end of the season following an ankle operation in April, he was not included in the final selection, nor was Newport County midfielder Josh Sheehan. I had to make some tough decisions and some frustrated people left the camp, which is not easy, Paige said. Afterwards, I told the group that they were 26 happy people. We have such a good group and they are very close. If I could take 31, I would take them all, because they are all good characters. But that’s football, unfortunately – we have to make those decisions and move on. Wales meet world champions France on Wednesday 2 June, in a friendly in Nice, and then face France on Saturday 5 June. June, at Cardiff City against Albania – this will be the last match before the final.
